Do you perform any physical examinations?

As your doula I do not perform and physical examinations during pregnancy, labor and delivery. This will be something your care provider does for you.

How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?

One of the greatest things I get to do as your doula is help your partner shine in their role during your birth. Preserving the memory of how you were supported is my number one priority. I always say that my job is to help make your partner look like a rockstar during the labor and birth process. I will be a calm, reassuring presence that will help guide and direct as much or as little as needed.
